MERS is a viral disease which infect both human and animals especially found in SaudiArab,UAE and other neighbouring countries.
MERS COV is a new memeber of Beta group of Coronavirus,Betacoronavirus.

History:
      First called Novel Coronavirus in 2012.It was first isolated from the sputum sample of a patient who was suffering from new flu in 2012.

Origin:
It was first reported in 2012 in Amman,Jordan in a hospital where the transmission of the disease wasH2H.Then later a 60year old patient who was suffering from pneumonia and kidney failure and died in Jeddah in later days..
Natural reservoirs:
Research show that virus is related to Egyptian Tomb bat..Research by tje epidemiologists in columbia university in Newyork shows that virus found in bat is same as found in human..
Recent research shows that camels are also a source of spreading the disease and infecting humans. Coronavirus infection in dromadry camel calves and adults are 99.9% same as the virus found in humans.










Preventive Measure and Care:
Camels are mostly effected and in camels spcies Dromadry breed are mostly effected and can also infect human beings.so care should be taken while handling camels and its product..Human should use mask and gloves while handling animals or without just for care...
